TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – 9th October 2019 – Airfare price assurance leader FairFly has appointed Ivan de Lantivy and Matt Roberts to lead business development in Europe. These appointments align with FairFly’s focus on continuing international growth and capitalizing on the full slate of GDS integrations completed last year.
de Lantivy joins FairFly with a distinguished twenty-year travel industry pedigree having most recently been Vice President of Global Accounts at Travelport and for seven years before that Vice President of Global Sales at BCD Travel. Ivan will be based between London and Paris and will lead business development in key continental markets.
“Ivan has delivered demonstrable and substantial results at Travelport and BCD and we are excited to have him join and lead FairFly’s ambitious plans for European growth,” said Aviel Siman-Tov, Co-Founder and CEO of FairFly. “Ivan is joining at the perfect time to accelerate our already aggressive momentum in Europe.”
Based in London, Roberts joins de Lantivy to develop the European market. Roberts previously held senior sales positions at the Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) and Amex Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) for 15 years, the most recent of which as Director of Sales, UK & Ireland.
“Matt brings considerable sales acumen to FairFly’s ranks and we are pleased that we could pull off this coup,” said Aviel Siman-Tov. “Both Matt and Ivan will enable our growth trajectory and mean we can deliver considerable savings to companies across the continent.”
